Our Story

Our story is one of humble beginnings, cherished traditions, and a heartfelt love for Thai cooking.

Lotus of Siam restaurant builds on the long-standing legacy of Siam Bistro, a small family-run restaurant that has served our community for more than 3 decades. Over the years, we have stayed true to our authentic flavours and recipes, always cooking with care and pride.

As we continue our journey, Lotus of Siam represents a gentle step forward—a contemporary Thai dining experience that still honours where we've come from. Our aim is simple: to share the warm, comforting flavours of Thailand in a fresh, approachable, and modern way.

 

Now, as we open our doors in the heart of the Glebe, Ottawa, we remain grateful for the chance to grow while staying rooted in our tradition. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing a piece of our Thai heritage—one dish at a time.
